Elaine and Peter Emrick Technology Center and National Canal Museum in Hugh Moore Park
The new center is a two-story 60 x 120 ft. brick-faced structure modeled after a nineteenth century mill building typical of those once located in the park. The building is located adjacent to the canal near the dock serving the canal boat. It contains 15,000 sq. ft. of floor space with more than half being devoted to exhibits and education programs.
Canal Boat Josiah White II
The canal boat sponsorship program is as rewarding to your company as a ride on the Josiah White II is to our 20,000 annual canal boat visitors. The boat has all the modern amenities: comfortable above- and below-deck seating, canopy for protection from the rain and sun, rest rooms, handicap lift to the lower deck and handicapped accessible boarding ramp.
